Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA)
Parents raised the concern through SNAP Parent Carer Forum that due to the lack of clinical guidance and diagnosis for Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA), and the challenges that can be faced when trying to access support for children with this profile.
We have co-produced with SNAP Parent Carer Forum and in collaboration with Bedfordshire’s SEND Designated Clinical Officer, the CBC PDA Position Statement
The Local Offer
"The Local Offer is not effective. Parents do not know where to go for information."
We have co-produced a guidance video for stakeholders accessing the Local offer as to how to navigate effectively.
