Under the Sea! - 15th, 16th, 17th February 2023

A series of one-off immersive, sensory workshops exploring life under the waves. We’ll meet different characters and explore the underwater world through music, lights, movement, smells and other sensory offerings. These workshops are aimed at those with profound and multiple learning disabilities and we welcome those who can’t follow instructions.

These sessions are COMPLETELY FREE to all participants as it is funded by Central Bedfordshire Council

Happy Little Yogi Half Term Taster Session - Monday 13 February, 2:00 - 3:00 pm

The Active Lifestyles Team are working in partnership with Happy Little Yogi this half term to bring two free, fun, yoga/mindfulness sessions for children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).

The sessions are aimed at 4 - 9 year olds, who live in Central Bedfordshire.

Venue: Studio 2, Flitwick Leisure Centre

Parents/Guardians are required to stay for the whole session and are welcome to join in if they wish.

'At the Circus' Workshop - Wednesday 15 February: 10.00 - 10.45 am

For children aged 3+ with suspected or diagnosed additional needs.  Aimed at those who need support from a parent/carer to participate.

Cost: Free

Forest School, Wednesday 15 February, 10:00 - 11:30 am

This is a free event for SEND children and their families.  It is aimed at children with a developmental age of 3-5 years.  Children must be accompanied by a parent/carer.  Siblings are welcome too.

Dance, drama, arts & crafts, games suitable for children aged 7+ with suspected or diagnosed additional needs.  Children must be able to follow instructions and participate independently.

Multi Sports Session: Children with SEND - Thursday 16 February, 11:00 am – 13:00 pm

'Yes we can' are providing coaches to run a multi sports session at Pages Park Pavilion for children with SEND and their siblings.

Cost: £3 for 1 child, £2 per sibling
