Radar Key

The National Key Scheme (NKS) offers disabled people access to over 9000 locked public toilets across the UK. Toilets fitted with NKS locks can be found in country parks, airports, railway and bus stations, motorway service areas, sports venues, shopping centres, department stores and many other locations.

The Radar Key is designed with the NKS identification printed, giving disabled people and people with health conditions independent access to locked public toilets around the country. The Radar Key Scheme enables these disabled toilets to be locked to prevent vandalism and misuse, while also being readily available to those who really need them.

The key can also give access to some playgrounds for disabled children.

Notes

There are many different websites selling RADAR keys. Many of them claim to be genuine; however, if it is not the official N&C Phlexicare key it is not a RADAR key, according to Disability Rights UK.
