Transition Information Network (TIN)

The Transition Information Network is a source of information and good practice for disabled young people, families and professionals.
We are a specialist network of the Council for Disabled Children set up to provide targeted information and resources about transition through online resources, publications and events.
We publish a magazine called My Future Choices which is for disabled young people, families and professionals. It includes articles written by disabled young people about their experiences of transition, information about transition projects, the latest policy and charity news and resources.
We work in partnership with the voluntary and community sector and with young people to develop training for professionals such as the It's My Life project on decision making for young people, and training on the Mental Capacity Act, the Children and Families Act and Care Act.
We also work behind the scenes on policy issues, respond to government consultations and work with leading organisations to develop and promote good practice in transition.
