'Writing Room' Poetry Workshop - Luton

Whether poetry is your passion, or something completely new, anyone is welcome to come along to our poetry workshop where we will be looking at a poem and exploring what it means before creating our own in a similar style

With support from Bedford based poet Katie O’Pray, you will have the chance to write your own in a safe and chilled space

We know that as we get older, there's not much out there for young adults that doesn't involved drinking and nights out, so we wanted to create a safe, calm space to connect with like-minded people and have a chat whilst getting creative You don’t have to share what you’ve written - unless you want to of course!

We will provide paper and pens, but feel free to bring along your own or a laptop/tablet

For people aged 16-25(You’ll get a free drink and some cake too!)

Better Days BLMK is an exciting new project made up of a year of creative workshops for Children and Young People in our local communities. Working in collaboration with young people, local creatives and services, we aim to promote healthy conversations around mental health and emotional well-being - helping to reduce stigma and improve well-being
