Community Paediatrics Service - Edwin Lobo Centre
We are a team of paediatricians with expertise in childhood long term conditions. We provide paediatric medical assessments to children and young people with the following conditions:
- Suspected developmental delays or disorders
- Neurodisability (e.g. cerebral palsy) and neuro-developmental problems (e.g. Autism Spectrum Disorders)
- Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and associated behavioural problems
- Developmental co-ordination disorder
- Enuresis, encopresis and constipation
We also do medicals for Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCP), adoption, safeguarding and Looked After Children.

Online Referral form for Community Paediatrics
We accept referrals from GPs, school nurses, school SENDCOs, health visitors, therapists, CAMH and hospital paediatricians via email to cs.beds.childrens.specialistreferrals@nhs.net We do not accept referrals for:
- Selective mutism
- Emotional problems, including anxiety disorders, depression, mood disorders,
- Obsessive Compulsive Disorders, suicidal tendency or self-harming
- Pathological Demand Avoidance
- To confirm or rule out dyslexia
